As a birth and postpartum doula Tori strives to provide her clients with knowledge and resources to confidently navigate their pregnancy, birth and beyond. Birth Support

24/7 Communication
Once you sign your contract with Tori, she will be on call until your baby is born.
Access to Tori's handouts and materials
Tori has a multitude of handouts and materials that you will have access to after signing your contract with her. Some of these will these will be covered with Tori in your prenatal sessions, while others will be free to access when you need them.
Backup Doula
Things happen, and Tori wants to make sure, no matter what the circumstances, you are supported when you need it. Once you sign your contract, Tori will connect with one of their trusted doula collogues to see who is available, then set up a time for you to meet them. Throughout your pregnancy Tori will share information with her backup so in the event of an emergency your backup will be able to step in and support you.
2 Prenatal Sessions
To prepare for your birth Tori will schedule 2 prenatal sessions with you. Each of these visits usually last about 2 hours and can be done in your home, Tori's office, or another location you feel comfortable. During your prenatal sessions Tori will walk through your birth preferences and your questions and feelings around labor and birth. This is a time for Tori to get to know you and the ways they can support you.
14 Hours Labor support
Most of the time 14 hours is more time than needed for your labor support. If support is needed beyond 14 hours clients have the option to extend support at an hourly rate of $40/hr. This will be discussed with Tori at your prenatal sessions so you will both be on the same page for your support needs/wants.
Labor and/or early postpartum photos
While Tori is not a professional photographer, she has a nice camera and loves to provide her clients with photos of their labor and first moments with their newborn. As your doula, Tori's priority is your support, however in moments where things are going smoothly Tori is able to take some photos for you to remember your birth by.
1 Postnatal Visit
Within the first 2 weeks of your birth Tori will schedule a time to meet with you. This time is an opportunity to talk about and process your birth experience. There will also be time to check in and see how things are going, ask newborn care questions, lactation support, and get resources for any further support needed. For this visit Tori loves to bring a meal for her families, either to share together or to freeze for a later date.
What can your doula do?
Tori offers many types of support during your pregnancy, labor, and birth. These include physical support, emotional support, informational support, and advocacy. Each of these are important in their own way and can be achieved through many different techniques;
Comforting touch through the use of massage or counter pressure
Creating an environment comfortable for each client's needs
Assisting with water therapy (shower, tub)
Applying hydrotherapy (heat or cold)
Assisting the birthing person in movement during labor
Providing support guidance to partners
Offering emotional support
Assisting with positioning, with or without an epidural
Being a constant support through any changes in their care team
Helping clients create a safe environment to advocate for themselves
Helping clients understand the birth process and what their options are
Education on labor and birth during the prenatal period
Postpartum Support
Included in postpartum support: 1 Video or Home Visit Access to Tori's Handouts and Materials Backup Doulas Contracted Shifts Price: $45/hr
1 Video or Home Visit
Once you sign your contract, Tori will schedule a visit with you. This can be in your home or over Zoom, whatever is most comfortable for you. This visit will be an opportunity to go over any postpartum and newborn questions and discuss postpartum planning.

Backup Doula
Things happen, and Tori wants to make sure, no matter what the circumstances, you are supported when you need it. If the need should arise to find you coverage Tori will one of their trusted collogues to see who is available, then set up a time for you to meet them.
Contracted Shifts
Tori offers different postpartum support options to help with specific needs;
Day time support: Indented to provide newborn care while supporting new parents and siblings. 4 hour minimum shift.
Overnight support: Intended to help parents get much needed rest and aid in newborn sleep. 8 hour minimum shift.
Weather you schedule Tori for a week or 3 months she will be there to take care you your needs. Postpartum support can come in many forms;
